and don't forget the Atherton Market in SouthEnd. This all local growers only market is indoors, open year around offering a wide variety of meats, cheeses, dairy, mushrooms and prepared foods in addition to fruits, vegetables, herbs and eggs. There also are crafts, flowers, plant starts and so much more.

You should include the Matthews Farmers Market. It's on Trade Street in downtown Matthews. Each booth has a covering, but it's not fully covered. There are winter hours (every other week).
It's my Saturday home away from home!
