Starting in April, Organic Creamery’s cheese recipe contest will give home chefs the opportunity to win eco-friendly prizes for their kitchens.

DCI Cheese Company recently announced its Pure Ingredients, Purely Delicious recipe contest, which will kick off in April and last through May. Sponsored by Organic Creamery, DCI Cheese Company’s line of certified-organic cheeses, the contest is simple: Submit a recipe that showcases Organic Creamery cheese for the chance to win an eco-friendly prize for your kitchen.

“Organic Creamery is the most extensive line of certified-organic cheese varieties in the United States so the culinary possibilities are truly endless for our contestants,” says Katie Jury, marketing manager at DCI. “We’re excited to see the ‘purely delicious’ recipes they create for this contest, and we’re even more excited to sample the entries!”

An independent panel will judge the submissions according to taste, originality and the appropriate use of Organic Creamery cheeses. The first-place winner will receive an energy- and water-efficient dishwasher; second place: eight-piece eco-conscious cookware set; third place: eco-friendly bamboo dinnerware set.

Full contest rules and an online entry form for Organic Creamery’s Pure Ingredients, Purely Delicious recipe contest will become available at www.organiccreamerycheese.com. Select recipe entries will also appear on the website upon the contest’s completion.
